1. Services Provided

Mobile Express Oil Service offers mobile vehicle servicing in Auckland, including but not limited to oil changes, fluid top-ups, filter replacements, and basic vehicle maintenance. Our services are performed at the location specified by you (the customer).

2. Booking and Service Requests

  • Booking: Appointments can be scheduled via our website or by calling our customer service. You are responsible for providing accurate information regarding your vehicle and the service required so we can serve you properly.
  • Service Location: The service will be performed at the location you specify during booking, within the Auckland region. Please ensure the location is accessible and has sufficient space for our service vehicle to operate safely. We require a flat, stable surface to perform the service, if a flat surface is not available at your location, we may have to move the vehicle to a nearby suitable area.

3. Fees and Payment

  • Fees: Service fees will be quoted at the time of booking based on the service requested and your vehicle type. Additional charges may apply if further services are required beyond the scope of the initial request.
  • Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, Afterpay and Klarna.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Access and Safety: You must ensure that your vehicle is accessible at the agreed appointment time and that the area is safe for our technicians to work. We are not responsible for any damage or delays caused by unsafe conditions or inaccessible locations at the service site.
  • Vehicle Condition: Please provide accurate information about your vehicle’s condition and any issues. We are not liable for problems that arise due to inaccurate or incomplete information you have provided about your vehicle.

5. Service Limitations and Exclusions

  • Scope of Service: Our services are limited to those explicitly listed on our website and booking platform. We do not provide extensive mechanical repairs or services beyond basic maintenance. If your vehicle requires major repairs, we may recommend a specialist or workshop service.
  • Exclusions: We are not responsible for any damage or issues that arise from pre-existing vehicle conditions not disclosed by you prior to service. It is your responsibility to inform us of any known issues or special requirements before we perform the service

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule an appointment with at least 48 hours’ notice without penalty. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee to compensate for the reserved time slot and any travel already undertaken.
  • Rescheduling: Rescheduling an appointment is subject to availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred new time if you need to change an appointment, but this cannot be guaranteed, especially with short notice.

7. Liability and Warranties

  • Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule an appointment with at least 48 hours’ notice without penalty. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee to compensate for the reserved time slot and any travel already undertaken.
  • Rescheduling: Rescheduling an appointment is subject to availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred new time if you need to change an appointment, but this cannot be guaranteed, especially with short notice.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Privacy Policy: Any personal information we collect from you (such as your name, contact details, and vehicle information) will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We respect your privacy and protect your data. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

Mobile Express Oil Service reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will become effective once they are posted on our website. It is your responsibility to review the terms periodically. By continuing to use our services after any updates, you agree to the revised Terms and Conditions.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
